HB Oil Paintings — Refund & Returns Policy

1) What’s Returnable (and What’s Final Sale)

 

Original Paintings: Final sale. Originals are one-of-a-kind. We’ll support carrier claims for damage (see Section 4).

 

Limited-Edition & Made-to-Order Prints (canvas/paper): Final sale once printing begins. If your print arrives damaged/defective, we’ll repair/replace  (see Section 4).

 

Merchandise (apparel, mugs, stationery, etc.): Return within [30] days of delivery, unused and in original packaging with tags.

 

If a product is defective or arrives damaged, we’ll first attempt a repair or replacement consistent with the seller’s “right to cure” under the Texas UCC, and then consider a refund if we cannot make it right.

2) How to Start a Return or Problem Claim

 

Email hb@hboilpaintings.shop

with:

 

Subject: “Return Request” or “Damage Claim”

 

Body: Your name, order number, item, reason, and supporting photos (for damage/defect).

Windows to notify us:

 

Damage/defect on delivery: within [48 hours] of carrier “delivered” scan (keep all packaging).

 

Standard merchandise returns: within [30] days of delivery (see Section 1).

 

3) Conditions for Returns (Merch)

 

Item must be unused, unwashed, and in original packaging.

 

We may deny returns showing wear, use, or missing components.

 

Return shipping:

 

Our fault (wrong item/defect): we cover return shipping.

 

Buyer’s remorse: you pay return shipping.

4) Items Damaged in Transit (Art & Prints)

 

Email us within [48 hours] of delivery with photos of the outer box, inner packing, and the item.

 

Keep all packing materials until we finish the carrier claim.

 

 

Note: porch theft after a carrier marks “delivered” isn’t damage in transit; consider shipping to a staffed address or requesting signature service on high-value orders.

 

Due to the unique and original nature of my artwork, all sales of original paintings and limited edition prints are final. refunds are NOT available. Although, we do accept returns if damaged in transit, and will send a replacement.

 

Shipping charges: Non-refundable 

 

International duties/taxes/fees: Non-refundable through us (check with your local customs office).

 

5) Exchanges

 

For merchandise sizes or similar swaps, initiate a return (Section 2) and place a new order. 

6) Non-Refundable:

 

Original artwork, Limited edition prints

 

7) Order Cancellations

 

Before fulfillment: We’ll cancel and refund if production/packing hasn’t started.

 

After printing/packing of Limited edition prints or after original art is crated: cancellation will not be possible.

 

8) Defects, Warranties & Your Rights

 

If an item is non-conforming, we may cure within a reasonable time (repair/replace) as permitted by the Texas UCC. If we cannot cure, you may pursue remedies (including revocation of acceptance where legally appropriate).

9) Updates to This Policy

 

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our processes or law. We’ll post a new Effective Date when we do.

 

Notes for Texas shoppers (plain English)

 

Texas does not require stores to offer refunds; our posted policy governs.
